Fr. David Bechill
Associate Pastor, Divine Child,
Dearborn
Fr. Bechill credits his pastor with inspiring him to be a priest: “I began altar serving the same year he came to the parish, when I was in the fourth grade. It was very special to me to be there at the altar with him, and to learn what the Mass is and why the Mass is so important. His life was an invitation to greater intimacy with Christ. I came to feel that Jesus wanted me to be His priest."
Fr. Stephen Pullis
Associate Pastor, St. Joseph Parish,
Lake Orion
"I am 27 years old and before seminary I got a degree in Political Science. The past 5 years that I have spent in seminary have been the best years of my life. There have been so many blessings that the Lord has shown me through my time in formation. Sacred Heart has been a great place to come to grow in an awareness of the love that the Father has for me through His Son Jesus Christ. As my ordination gets closer, I have been thinking about the story of the man who finds a treasure in a field and goes and sells all he has with joy to buy that field (Mt 13:44). I am so grateful to God for what He has given me and I want to make a return of my life to Him in gratitude. I can't wait to begin my life as a priest for the Archdiocese of Detroit."
Fr. Eric Fedewa
Associate Pastor, St. Anastasia Parish,
Troy
"I thank Almighty God for the call He has given me to serve the people of the Archdiocese of Detroit as a Roman Catholic priest! I am very grateful for the solid formation that I have received from Sacred Heart Major Seminary and the holy example of the priests at the seminary, as well as that of our shepherd Archbishop Vigneron."
